Does your pup want to join our pack? Great, we can’t wait to meet them! Every new dog is required to come in for an evaluation before they can stay for daycare OR boarding. Here's everything you need to know:

  • Bring in or email a copy of your vaccination records to indyhounddog@gmail.com (all required vaccinations need to be seen prior to evaluation). Be sure it lists their Distemper, Rabies, Bordetella and Influenza as current.

  • The evaluation will only take 10 - 20 minutes. They’ll be slowly introduced to a different variety of pups, low energy to high energy, smallest and largest. We look to see if your dog has a temperament suitable for safe and enjoyable commingled play with other dogs, as we often average around 100 other pups! (if your pup doesn’t enjoy being in our group, we let you know and suggest other style daycares or activities to best suit his/her personality)

  • We encourage your pup to stay and play for up to 6 hours after completing a successful evaluation. Other guests will be arriving throughout the morning, so it gives us the best opportunity to see if your pup adjusts well to the shift of the pack!

  • Call or email to schedule an evaluation between 7:30 am and 10:30 am, Monday through Thursday. We do not offer evaluations on Fridays or the weekends.

  • If you're new to Indy Hound and are in search of a place to board your dog, please plan to bring your dog to daycare at least 2 weeks prior and successfully complete 2 full days of daycare(separate from their evaluation day) to the requested boarding stay. This gives us a feel for how your dog will do during boarding and also gives your pup time to acclimate to us, our pack, and to the environment.

  • All new clients will need to fill out a “New Dog Registration Form” and sign our waiver. You can do this at the facility or click the button below to download the form.

PLEASE NOTE: We are mainly a daycare facility that offers boarding to our daycare dogs. We do not offer separate private areas for pups who are unable to be comfortable and safe in daycare.
